Lawruh in London Town

LAWWRARR in London Town
Finally made it to the big smoke. Spent 4 days on my brothers floor, the luxuries of living out of my smelly pack and sleeping on a pool-bed style excuse for a sleeping mattress are definately things i won't miss. Needless to say, it was only 4 days, and i have nothing much to complain about. Fell upon a great house in Camden Town, 2 minutes off High st with all the comforts of home, feel very lucky. Great people, great lifestyle choices on their behalf which will only work in my favour. Lets just say the green man comes a knockin'...
Had a very nice week-and-a-half filled with plenty a pint and good company, met some great people (others-not so great) and got to explore and experience alot of what i've always wanted. Abbey Road was a big highlight, a BIG dream of mine to take that photo.. and i did it. Actually, its up there with one of the funniest things i have ever seen, the lengths that people go to for that exact same shot. Everyone has so much fun, trying to run across in the midst of actual residents on the st, or other people just actually wanting to use the crossing. Spencer ran out into the middle of road to take our shot, but i was buckled over in laughter and didnt really capture the moment quite as i'd planned/dreamt about. all the same i still stood there, which was pretty incredible. I confessed my love on the wall, and was entertained by other tourists for quite some time.
Went to Chicago the stage production. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT. Everything is so much better here, the theatre was so old and informal, felt like a secret show or something. Singing and dancing was so good, verrry classy. Its almost as much to go to the theatre as it is to go to the movies, so ill definately be seeing more. WICKED is next... ohhh babyyyy!
Spent alot of time & money in different bars and pubs around Soho, and Camden town, lots of cool places that make you feel less cool every time you step in them. Its time to settle down and get a job- hopefully!!!!
Loving the transport, the beer, the excitement, the holidaying, the freedom, the history, Camden Town, Soho, The markets, two pound subs, the SHOES, the value for money (after figuring out australian exchange- in the sense of clothes and shoes but not much else), so much going on.
Loathing the weather, HSBC BANK AND ALL INVOLVED IN IT, money, missing people at home, exchange rate, people leaving, english coffee, people shoving papers in my face outside tube stations.
